We are using forms as a discovery tool for prospective partners and clients. We have built a comprehensive form and published it to a space for the individual client. I would like the ability to copy that survey and publish it into another space.
Hi @Ben
Thanks for reaching out and logging this suggestion! I’ll make sure your idea is considered for future development. In the meantime, there’s a quick workaround you might find helpful—copying and pasting elements from your existing form to a new one in additional spaces. Here’s how:
Open the page with your original form.
Enter edit mode.
Scroll to the form container and select the first question you’d like to copy.
Once highlighted in blue, you’ll see a Confluence submenu appear (see screenshot).
Click Copy.
Go to your new space and create a new form.
Cancel the form builder to return to edit mode with the form container visible on your page.
Click inside the form container and delete the default text, “Click on the edit icon to start creating…”
Paste your question.
Repeat steps 4–9 for each question you’d like to transfer to the new form.
Publish your new form.
While this isn’t a perfect solution, it should save you a lot of time on rewriting. Let me know if you need any further guidance in the meantime!
Many thanks,
Tom
